Better late than never! 💙 We may be a little late in sharing this, but these incredible people are definitely worth celebrating!

🌿 Learning Beyond the Classroom: Nature-Based Education in LSSD This summer, six LSSD educators took part in three days of preparatory training focused on nature-based education — exploring how connection with nature can support learning, mental health, well-being, belonging and meaningful experiences for students and staff.

LSSD is providing an update regarding the ongoing bargaining process with CUPE Local 1522. The Division remains committed to approaching the process with respect, openness and a willingness to work collaboratively, while recognizing the important contributions of our educational assistants, custodial and clerical staff.

The LSSD community is invited to join us for a special ceremony honouring the legacy of the late Honourable Murray Sinclair as we officially rename École Selkirk Junior High to École Murray Sinclair Middle School in his honour. 📅 October 7, 2026 📍 516 Stanley Ave., Selkirk MB ⏰ 10:30 A.M.
